  1. 1. Find the right customer

Enter a name in Search conversations... and select a conversation. Check the recipient's name at the top. This is the signed-in account's inbox and may also include personal contacts.

  2. 2. Send text and photos

Type in the Aa field, then click the send icon or press Enter. Click Attach image and choose a photo to send it. Check Sent, Seen or Failed; choosing a photo uploads and sends it immediately.

  3. 3. Send a voice note

If the mic icon appears, hold it to record and release to stop and send. Allow browser microphone access first. Each recording lasts up to 60 seconds and stops automatically at the limit. The control appears only in browsers that support recording.

  4. 4. Reply and react

Click Reply beside a message to quote it in your response. Hover over a message bubble to choose a reaction; on touchscreens, hold the bubble. Click your reaction again to remove it.

  5. 5. Translate a message

Hover over a text message and click Translate. The translation appears below the original in the Website's language; click Hide to close it. Current AI access and allowance apply.

  6. 6. Pin, archive and mute

Open the three-dot Options menu beside a conversation to Pin, Archive or Mute it. Use Unpin, Unarchive or Unmute to reverse the setting. The Archived item opens stored conversations when that control appears.

  7. 7. Change the background and sounds

Click the palette icon, Chat background, at the top to choose a background. Use Message sounds to turn interface sounds on or off.

  8. 8. Delete your own message

Hover over a message you sent and click Delete message. This currently acts immediately without a confirmation dialog, replacing the content with Message deleted. Check that you selected the right message first.
