Find items to buy in the App
Search Marketplace, narrow by price and condition, then contact the seller from the listing.
Follow the steps
From Home, find Explore and tap Marketplace. This opens the item listings directly so you can browse products or search for what you need.

- Type into “Search: furniture, cars, phones…”. Enter a City, state or zip and select the matching suggestion, or tap Near me and allow location access to search around your current position. Check which location is being applied.
- Tap the filter icon. Choose Category, Price Range (USD), Condition and an available sort: Newest, Nearest or price order. Tap the button at the bottom of the filter panel to apply your choices. Choose Reset when you want to start over.
- Compare photos, prices, condition and location on result cards. Scroll, move to another page or choose Map to see locations. Tap an image or title to open the listing. If there are too few matches, remove a filter or widen the area.
- Open the photos for a closer look and read the description, price, condition and seller information. Use the save icon at the top to add the listing to Favorites; sign in if prompted. You can also share its link.
- Tap Message seller to chat in the app. If the listing includes a phone number or email, use the displayed call, SMS or email action. Ask whether the item is available, its actual condition and how to view or collect it before agreeing to the transaction.

1. Open Marketplace

Type into “Search: furniture, cars, phones…”. Enter a City, state or zip and select the matching suggestion, or tap Near me and allow location access to search around your current position. Check which location is being applied.
3. Filter by price and condition
Tap the filter icon. Choose Category, Price Range (USD), Condition and an available sort: Newest, Nearest or price order. Tap the button at the bottom of the filter panel to apply your choices. Choose Reset when you want to start over.
4. Compare matching items
Compare photos, prices, condition and location on result cards. Scroll, move to another page or choose Map to see locations. Tap an image or title to open the listing. If there are too few matches, remove a filter or widen the area.
5. Read and save a listing
Open the photos for a closer look and read the description, price, condition and seller information. Use the save icon at the top to add the listing to Favorites; sign in if prompted. You can also share its link.
6. Contact the seller
Tap Message seller to chat in the app. If the listing includes a phone number or email, use the displayed call, SMS or email action. Ask whether the item is available, its actual condition and how to view or collect it before agreeing to the transaction.
Tips for finding the right result
- Near me needs location permission. You can still search by city or area without GPS.
- Saved listings appear in Profile → Favorites. Saving an item does not reserve it.
- When a bell appears after searching or filtering, you can save the search. Check the saved search criteria before reusing them.
