VietLinker

Stolen goods policy.

Contents

VietLinker does not allow stolen goods to be sold. This applies to every shop in the Market (Chợ) and to every classified listing on VietLinker, in every state.

Stolen goods are prohibited

  • Stolen goods may not be listed, offered or sold on any VietLinker shop or listing.
  • A seller who knowingly sells stolen goods is suspended immediately, without a prior warning, and the shop or account may be closed permanently.

How to report

Anyone may report a seller who is, or may be, selling stolen goods:

  • In the VietLinker app, tap Report on a listing or a shop page and choose “Suspected stolen goods”.
  • On the website, tap Report on a classified listing (Marketplace, Jobs, Real Estate, Restaurants or Services).
  • For a shop, or if you cannot use the Report button, email account@vietlinker.com with the listing or shop link and what you saw.
  • If you are in California, you may also report directly to the California Attorney General (see below).

Consequences

When a report is valid, or when VietLinker finds stolen goods itself, VietLinker may:

  • remove the listing or the product concerned;
  • suspend the shop or the account (immediately where the seller knowingly sold stolen goods), and close it permanently;
  • report the matter to law enforcement and cooperate with the investigation.

Law enforcement

VietLinker cooperates with law enforcement on valid requests, such as a warrant, subpoena or court order. Agencies should follow the instructions on the law enforcement contact page.
